Get to Know Yourself, Connect, and Persuade

How to Stand Out and Communicate Your Professional Value

Having a strong academic record and a solid education is important, but when entering the job market, it’s also essential to know what you can contribute, where you want to take your career, and how to convey that clearly and convincingly.

The session “Get to Know Yourself, Connect, and Persuade” focuses on three key aspects to help you take your first professional steps with greater confidence.

First, get to know yourself: identify your strengths, recognize what motivates you, and pinpoint the areas where you can still grow. Next, connect: learn to nurture your network and your personal brand by building quality professional relationships that can lead to new opportunities. And finally, make a compelling case: know how to explain what you can contribute, what sets you apart from other candidates, and how to present yourself concisely, naturally, and with personality.

The session will also cover how to prepare an elevator pitch—a presentation lasting just a few seconds that allows you to convey who you are professionally and what your value proposition is in a simple and effective way.

A session designed to help you come away with a clearer understanding of what you can contribute, how to communicate it, and how to start building opportunities based on that.
