This week, the University of Navarra Job Fair connected 1,300 students and graduates with more than 152 companies. Around 700 university students in their final years of undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as alumni, participated in the in-person event, which took place at the postgraduate headquarters in Madrid. At the same time, a virtual event was held, which was attended by more than 600 young people.

The event brought together companies from a variety of sectors, ranging from consulting and auditing to technology, energy, services, and healthcare. Students were able to connect with human resources and talent teams from Amazon, Volkswagen, CNMV, Iberdrola, Repsol, Hijos de Rivera, IBM, Farlabo, EY, Haleon, Fever, Llorente y Cuenca, and Quirón Prevención, among others.

"The Job Fair was created with the aim of connecting university talent seeking their first professional opportunities with companies looking to recruit new profiles," explains Georgina Calderón, deputy director of the Internship and Employment Service. "This edition, in which companies have particularly valued the profiles and applications received, has consolidated the event as a networking space for our students," she says.

The 152 participating companies posted nearly 500 job and internship offers through the event's digital platform and received a total of 2,777 applications for them. In addition, there were more than 12,000 visits to the companies' various virtual stands.

The participating companies particularly valued the academic preparation, variety of profiles, and proactive attitude of the attendees. Pablo Saiz, Talent Acquisition & Campus Management at L'Oréal, highlighted the wealth of profiles present at the fair: "We are meeting candidates from a wide range of degrees—marketing, engineering, architecture, and pharmacy—and that is of great interest to us." For Elena Ruiz, Talent Acquisition at Moeve, the outcome was also positive: "We were surprised by the demand and the preparation of the students, who had previously consulted the vacancies and knew in advance about the scholarships we offer. We are very satisfied with the result."

With this new edition of the Job Fair, the University of Navarra reinforces its commitment to employability and to the connection between university and business, providing its students and graduates with access to professional opportunities and spaces for direct contact with the job market.
