The University of Navarra welcomed the alumni of the '20 '21 and '22 graduating classes in Madrid with a session given by Prof. José Ramón Pin

Last Tuesday, November 22, the University of Navarra held an Alumni Afterwork at the Alumni Building on the Madrid Campus. This event, organized by the Madrid Alumni Board, was an event to welcome the recently graduated alumni of the '20, '21 and '22 graduating classes to the capital. They were also able to enjoy a session with IESE professor and Master in People Management professor José Ramón Pin.
The president of the Madrid Alumni Board, Isabel Ramis (COM'05), was in charge of welcoming the alumni and introducing the entire Madrid board: "All the members of the Board voluntarily collaborate with the University to take care of the alumni network in Madrid and to organize activities that allow us to keep in touch," she explained. He also took the opportunity to thank everyone for attending and remarked on the importance of belonging to the University of Navarra Alumni network.
After the welcome, José Ramón Pin gave the lecture"The first 100 days at work: how to prepare for the rest of your professional life". During the session, the professor explained how to face a change and the challenge it entails, and emphasized the importance of the figure of the mentor, as he can help to prepare for the next professional stages and advise on the first job changes. He also highlighted the virtue of resilience to overcome change. To conclude the session, the professor addressed the recent graduates saying: "You are alumni of the University of Navarra, and that includes responsibilities, greatness, magnanimity".
At the end of the conference, the alumni enjoyed a networking space where they were able to strengthen ties and meet the rest of the alumni who attended the event.
Alumni Territorial Boards: what are they?
The Alumni Chapters or Territorial Alumni Boards are the points of connection between the University of Navarra and its alumni. They are made up, on a voluntary basis, of alumni committed to the University who are responsible for the coordination and management of activities in the different geographical areas both in Spain and abroad.
Currently, in Spain, the Alumni Boards are uniprovincial in nature. The provinces of A Coruña, Álava, Alicante, Almería, Asturias, Badajoz, Barcelona, Burgos, Cáceres, Cádiz, Córdoba, Girona, Guipúzcoa, Granada, Huelva, Huesca, Balearic Islands, Jaén, Las Palmas, La Rioja, Lleida, Madrid, Málaga, Murcia, Navarra, Pontevedra, Salamanca, Seville, Tarragona, Tenerife, Valencia, Valladolid, Vizcaya and Zaragoza have one.
Abroad, the boards have a national character. The countries with an Alumni Board are: Ecuador(Guayaquil), Guatemala, Panama, Costa Rica, United Kingdom(London), United States(New York and Boston), Mexico and Peru.
